Structured Products Investment Professional

Tilden Park Capital Management is seeking a highly-motivated quantitative Structured Products Investment Professional with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, cerebral, and entrepreneurial environment. We are considering Associate and Vice President-level candidates with at least two years of structured products experience.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform sector and security analysis in one or more structured products asset classes including ABS, CLO, CMBS, and RMBS
  • Source, filter, evaluate, and execute investment ideas applying a systematic and quantitative approach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sell-side sales, trading and research teams
  • Give valuable input in the complex modeling of structured products cashflows in a range of macro and micro scenarios
  • Collaborate with the technology team to improve and develop tools to increase efficiency of filtering and analyzing transactions and securities
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and client presentations
  • Maintain and develop cross-sector monitoring and relative value frameworks
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda
  • Collaborate with the entire Structured Products investment, research, and quantitative teams



Requirements:

  • We are considering both Associate and Vice President level candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in structured products
  • Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be performance-driven, self-motivated, resourceful, detail oriented, receptive of feedback, and striving for continuous improvement
  • Experienced with Bloomberg, Intex, and must have excellent Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus) skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • High personal integrity and ethical standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for financial markets and investing in structured products



Education:

  • The ideal candidate has stellar academic credentials, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fields.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $200,000 USD Annually

The referenced salary range is based on the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, skill level, and salary expectations of other qualified candidates. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
